Challenge
ClinicalTrials.gov is a goldmine of raw data but has no real aggregated view. The team needed to quickly see where trials were delayed, who was sponsoring them, how participant demographics broke out — across tens of thousands of active studies.
Solution
AWS-based pipeline with scheduled refresh from ClinicalTrials.gov exports. Power BI dashboards on top: On Track vs Delayed breakdown with delay rate, Top 25 sponsor ranking, GeoMap by country, sex distribution across trial phases, and 9 recruitment status categories.
